catplane Posted November 27, 2022 Posted November 27, 2022 Hi everyone. I am new here and I spent my first two days with DCS by trying to install the game... I checked the forum and did everthing that was mentioned as far as I understood what to do. Anyway. I told WinDefender to ignore DCS, uninstalled and reinstalled the installer/updater serval times and still get the above mentioned error after a couple of minutes. I do not what to do next. Other than saying goodbye to DCS and returning to MSFS... at least a program that can be installed. Attached the logfile. By the way, if a newby looks for help and has to wait 24 hours for the first post, this does not decrease the frustration. autoupdate_log.txt
Flappie Posted November 27, 2022 Posted November 27, 2022 Hi. Have you tried rebooting your router? If this doesn't work, open a support ticket: log into DCS website, click Support, then Create a new ticket. ---
catplane Posted December 1, 2022 Author Posted December 1, 2022 Got it done after 5 days and app. 25 downloads using the repair function over and over again... Support was not really a big help. All efforts like firewall etc. did not help.
