Hey Guys

There is a now a HolographicShell Fix that no longer requires Command Prompt to claw back VR performance in Windows 11 due to excessive event tracing

You do need to *Manually Update* windows to KB5020044

This patch is only for Windows 22H2 though. Not everyone has had that pushed through by Microsoft. So if you are still on 21H2, you'll still need to run the command prompt workaround.

does this apply to windows 10?

 F/A-18C: Rhino FFB base TianHang F16 grip, Winwing MP 1, F-18 throttle, TO & Combat panels, MFG crosswind & DFB Aces  seat :cool:                       

Viper: WinWing MFSSB base with F-16 grip, Winwing F-16 throttle, plus Vipergear ICP. MFG crosswind rudders. 

Helo ( Apache) set up: Virpil collective with AH64D grip, Cyclic : Virpil CM3 base & TM F18 grip, MFG crosswind rudders, Total controls AH64 MFD's,  TEDAC Unit.

I don’t know much about Windows 11 other than to say that previously it has been recommended not to switch by people that know more than me. 
 

I believe either nineline and or bignewy now uses Windows 11. Is it worth it yet? I have a 12900KF and a 3080ti…..

i7700k OC to 4.8GHz with Noctua NH-U14S (fan) with AORUS RTX2080ti 11GB Waterforce. 32GDDR, Warthog HOTAS and Saitek rudders. HP Reverb.

For you - yes. Windows 11 has been designed with a new generation of scheduler for 12/13th Gen processors

Yes, I understand that theory, in a general, I'm not an IT kinda guy way, but I'm looking to see what people's practical experience is with this and DCS? Can they be sure it's Windows 11 that's making a difference on a 12th gen processor?
