KoleTang
I have noticed this since 2.8. But I was able to spend some time with this today. I tried a fresh logbook.lua file and was still able to recreate the issue. ["nighttime"] is not being updated in the aircraft statistics.
Flappie
Hi. I cannot reproduce your issue with current Open Beta. You're not the first one to report this issue. Do you mind sharing the mission you used to test this? Also, please attach your dcs.log file (from Saved Games/DCS.../Logs). Don't accept indie game testing requests from friends in Discord. Ever. KoleTang
Sure, here are the files. And an example. Starting logbook. Mission Debrief. Updated logbook. Note flight hours change correctly but Nighttime stays at 6h 3min. Could it be a time zone/map issue? Thanks for replying. Flappie
Thanks. I got it. Apparently, DCS says 'Nighttime' from 9:00:00 PM to 5:59:59 AM - whatever the date, terrain and location. Since DCS has its own night/day change events (event 39, S_EVENT_DAYNIGHT) based on Sun cycles, it should use this instead of fixed hours. I'll make a request to devs. Don't accept indie game testing requests from friends in Discord. Ever.
