You could pretty much run through the few pages of this sub-forum and grab everything. It's mostly skins and small (but useful!) texture tweaks. The only sim I ever thought needed new skins was Enemy Engaged, but that's entirely because the gound is so muted looking (rather dark, now) and the aircraft look a little too vibrant and almost cartoony by comparison. Alas, there really are no good ones for it. I have zero special paint jobs for flaming cliffs or blackshark. Never built any model airplanes, either, so maybe I don't quite get the whole repaint thing. All I've got is my little trim thing and the graphics mods you do yourself in the config files to boost fps. Boberro Posted January 25, 2009 Share Posted January 25, 2009 Due of poor FPS I had to install: 1). water mod for FC but it works with BS (from Hawg11) - water looks pretty even on medium, but it doesn't eat FPS 2). Overcast mod - also for FC but it works with BS - it creates better FPS in missions with heavy clouds 3.) Rest mods to FC will be tested soon, so don't know about them, maybe if they will work, I'll install them too. Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... crazyeddie Posted January 25, 2009 Share Posted January 25, 2009 A load of the better skins and scenery stuff that was available in LFC, most work on here as well plus anything new as it is offered up - I try it all and if I like it I keep it. I have to admire the work that goes into a lot of it but only use what I like. I do not play on line so I can add/tweak almost anything I want. Sadly DCS is not as user friendly for scenery builders as LFC was, so I will probably head back to LFC where I can 'experiement' to my hearts content !!! What I do use is mostly geared towards the in-cockpit experience with only one thing outside the cockpit and that's the airbase mod.
