How to launch a KH-25ML without damaging the Helo?

Every time I fire a KH-25L, my helo gets damaged. Distance from Target: 3.5nm / Helo altitude: ~2500 ft.

Are there any parameters to consider?

The manual does not describe the use of a KH-25ML.

Damaged, as in your engines shut down? If yes, you need some speed.

Increasing the speed solved my problem.
