Have been learning apache bit by bit after flying shark since early days

Does the apache have anything like a turn on target mode(like ka50) as its immensely useful.

[sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] This must be reality, no sim can have this many bugs!

Ka-50 is one heck of an aircraft (it's co-axial rotor for a start). AH-64 doesn't appear to have that capability.

The JF-17 is not better than the F-16; it's different. It's how you fly that counts.

No, the Apache does not come with turn-on-target. Yeah, BS indeed has some very useful AP systems that exceed what's available in the Apache. Auto Hover being another great one.

Not what you are asking, I know, but it might be of help:

From the CPG seat, you can order George PLT to "turn on target" by selecting CMBT mode in the George AI overlay and then press FWD on the George command hat switch.

System specs:

i7-8700K @stock speed - GTX 1080TI @ stock speed - AsRock Extreme4 Z370 - 32GB DDR4 @3GHz- 500GB SSD - 2TB nvme - 650W PSU

HP Reverb G1 v2 - Saitek Pro pedals - TM Warthog HOTAS - TM F/A-18 Grip - TM Cougar HOTAS (NN-Dan mod) & (throttle standalone mod) - VIRPIL VPC Rotor TCS Plus with ALPHA-L grip - Pointctrl & aux banks <-- must have for VR users!! - Andre's SimShaker Jetpad - Fully adjustable DIY playseat - VA+VAICOM - Realsimulator FSSB-R3

Thanks for the info lads. Its proving a great experience to compare the two aircraft fors and againsts. Shark of course designed around one man op,  compared to the two of apache albeit with the addition of flir and more sophistication throughout but complicating things also!!

Thanks again.
