Huge loss in performance after new update

I have observed a clear loss in fps, stuttering, and lag after the January 25 or 28. I thought it was just me but the loss was after my one week break from my computer and return the day before yesterday. I have also found others on youtube who have also seen this change. I have only tried singleplayer but im assuming the loss is also on multiplayer.

Same here I was getting good preformance before the update, I even flew a mission the day before then, today I'm 2 hours into a mission on the persion gulf map and I got the worst stuttering ever it wouldn't stop I let it go on for 20 minutes just to see if it would clear up but nothing this is a major issue not a small bug. At this point DCS is unplayable for me until it's fixed...

Exactly my Problem, maybe should have pointed out too, that before last Beta update I had it running smooth.

What I have researched so far. No issues with ram usage, cpu usage and harddrive while happening. But Graphics Card drops significantly to very low usage level for the time of the lag/stuttering.

Hello, Exactly the same problem for me. I play in VR, I have a powerful configuration, during the game I never see the CPU or the memory saturate. The missions often start well, everything is fluid, the ideal DCS. Then during the mission, without anyone knowing why, things go wrong. The game slowed down (no more or less objects), becomes frankly unpleasant. There often I put the VR headset down, I wait and sometimes it becomes playable again. I'm sick of it, it's frustrating, can't wait for this simulator to evolve. Because even with an FS2020 running like hell on my PC in VR, DCS remains the best simulator for me and I'm very attached to it.

Check your texture settings if you have 8gb vram card, i had this problem and changing texture settings from high to medium fix it, now 99% gpu load all the time, and stable 45fps(cpu bound)

Hi Malir, i'll try, thanks. I have 10 Gb of GDDR 6x. All my games are working great except DCS.
