I had thought that when VAICOM Pro went open source that there was a wishlist posted, but I don't see it anywhere anymore.

So here is somethings I'd like to suggest:

1. Make the VAICOM Pro tabs clickable instead of voice activated

2.  Make the voice activation keywords for the tabs actually match the tabs (ie, say "ATC" rather than "Traffic."

3.  If you are looking at a non  VAICOM Pro kneeboard page (such as an approach chart or mission card) and someone makes a radio call, it always jumps to the VAICOM Pro page.  Any way to have it just stay on the page you were looking at?  It's really annoying when I'm on approach and the AI calls me on the radio and I lose my approach chart because it snapped to the VAICOM Pro page.

2. Change them yourself in the keywords editor.

3. Turn off autobrowse in the settings.

Cheers!

The Wish List thread is here:

It took me about 10 seconds to find it using the Forum search function. @BIGNEWY perhaps you could merge them.

I was wondering if anyone had any info on whether or not the NS430 (Garmin mod) was now compatible with Vaicom PRO or not. I found a post dating back to 05 May 2019 from @Hollywood-315 where he is replying to @emc:

"@emc The Garmin can do some weird stuff with radio devices and is not on the compatibility list.

That said, it actually does work most of the time. First disable Garmin and make sure VAICOM PRO works OK.

Then enable the Garmin and if everything seems to work, great.

Just remember at the slightest sign of trouble that it's not compatible."

I have had issues with it in the past and have not used the NS430 for that reason. Can someone let me know if this has changed or if it's still incompatible? If it is still incompatible, can it be added to the list of items to be worked on?

There's a wishlist for features, but is there one for keywords? For one, I noticed it only recognizes "wheelchocks", which is something I've only ever heard said in DCS. Nobody IRL says "wheelchocks", it's always "chocks", even back in WWII. I suppose it should recognize "wheelchocks", but it's really silly it doesn't recognize "chocks" by default.

Make a wishlist for it, but I would assume it won't be a priority, as you can change most keywords by yourself, or add aliases.
I've changed a lot of stuff to what the voice-overs say, as the voice-overs are not like what's in the radio menu.

Cheers!

Yes, this can be done, but it might improve experience for other people if there was some sort of a master list. That's one thing I can think of, but I'm sure there are others I haven't run across yet. Now that it's a community project, such a list could easily be contributed.

Oh, I agree!
But maybe we should have a separate wishlist thread dedicated to keywords/commands.
I'm already, trying, to look into the missing commands for the Mossie and Jeff.
