Badlego
Hello, unfortunately i cannot create a track on this one, as DCS freezes and the process has to be killed, but this bug is easy to reproduce: 1.Load the attached mission 2. Go to TWS and make the F15C in front a system target and bug it with 2xTMS-right. 3.Unbug the target and decrease the radar range to 10nm, sothat the system target is out of scope. 4. When using TMS-right again to bug the target out of scope DCS should freeze and the process stops responding, forcing to kill it. Steps 1 to 3 can be varied. The important condition is, that a system target is out of scope and is bugged with TMS-right. I hope this helps. If it is possible to get any track or logfile from this, please inform me. I am using the open-beta version, no mods except for a modified countermeasure-lua file. Best regards F16-TWS-Freeze-test.miz Edited February 7, 2023 by Badlego

Badlego
I have attached the log-file. The last lines only say, that the mission starts and tacview is recording. The freeze occurs, when i do TWS-right a second time, when the system target is already bugged but still out of scope. I would expect, that the radar range adjusts to the bugged target, but it doesnt. dcs.log
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted February 7, 2023 ED Team Share Posted February 7, 2023 Thanks, yeah not seeing anything obvious in the log have you tried a repair of DCS yet? 51 minutes ago, Badlego said: no mods except for a modified countermeasure-lua file it maybe best to remove this edit for testing. Badlego
Thx for the help. As soon as i can i will try a repair of DCS and also update my GPU drivers, because when the freeze occurs also my GPU fans are going up. If you can still not reproduce the issue it might be hardware related.
Badlego
Update on this topic: Updating the GPU driver and doing a repair on DCS did not help. I created a track file that stops before the error. What you can do is replay the track, and as soon as you hear the "chaff/flare" signal, take control of the plane and do a TMS-right short. The game should then freeze. I hope this helps. Best regards. F16-TWS-freeze.trk
