Same here in VR. My guess is they did it to increase performance?

There shouldn't be any differences on how things look between MT and ST. And as far as I know, other modules are not affected, or at least that's what I've been told. If you want increased performance from degraded graphics, you change the settings.

Think is due to the cockpit displays resolution option at the main config menu, try 1024 a 1024 each frame to see if it solves the issue

this is reported, it seems the difference is more noticeable when you are using res of cockpit displays at 512, switching to 1024 will help

thanks

Hi @FalcoGer and everyone else seeing this blur effect.

This is a consequence of a design feature related to MFDs and how they are shown in the multithread build of DCS.

For now at least, like @BIGNEWYsaid, it is recomended you use 1024 resolution for the MFDs if you feel the TADS or any other MFD is too blurry. This may change in the future with new graphical options or some other improvements.

Thank you for understanding.

So we're basically F'ed when using MT since this is not a bug persé ?

512 should be lower quality than 1024
The way the MT build handles the render is different from ST.

thanks

I always use 1024 resolution, after the update it looks like 256, why such a downgrade? Later it will turn out that these additional options take so many frames that we will be at the starting point, on MT we will have as much frame as now on ST

EDIT: We have better quality picture on Ka-50 Shkval, and SU-25T Sensors than AH-64D sensors, and You guys mark thread as "correct as is"?

For anyone still having this issue, I was able to help someone else fix this by clearing shaders, then launching the game in singlethreaded and compiling shaders in ST. After doing this your MFDs should no longer be blurry in MT.

This is not correct as is. As this workaround has proven to resolve the issue.

@BIGNEWY Is this a reported bug and a known issue being worked on?
