The scoreboard said I crashed but a track shows no object, I just crashed in mid air.

No problem on my end.

OK.jpg

Try this:

  1. Go to your %TEMP% folder.
  2. Delete all folders starting with DCS
  3. Retry your mission.

It’s multiplayer although it runs the same mission all the time and this is the only time that’s happened. I can run it all the time without trouble.
I wouldn’t put too much stake into trying to run the track since those are always broken anyways, I’m not sure what use those are. The Tacview files are more accurate.

By %TEMP% which folder do you mean? My C:/temp folder? that one is empty.

I mean "C:\Users\your_login\AppData\Local\Temp", but you can access it by typing "%TEMP%".

DCS creates a folder here to uncompress missions and tracks. Sometimes, file permissions are in a weird state, which prevents DCS to reopen a mission. It looks like this:

temp.png

Purging this DCS folder often fixes the issue.

Ok I’ll try that, thanks

PS I might have over-speeded the aircraft. I wonder if that why I crashed mid-air?
