Aircraft markings after latest uppdate.

Saw the same thing last night. Lot of numbers that weren't there in previous patches are there now with the current one (2.8.4.38947).

There are 7 new sets of numbers on the aircraft:

  • One on the nose
  • Nose gear door
  • Lower fuselage above the nose gear
  • Aileron
  • Fuselage just forward of the horizontal stabs (overlaps where it would say NAVY or MARINES)
  • Two on the tail

I have the extra ones circled in the screenshot below. Seeing the same on both custom and default liveries.

The structure of the description.lua changed with the last patch. You can find the new structure in the livery folders in CoreMods or by generating a new lua file with the Model viewer.

This is what i want to know there is a lot of liveries that need to be fixed and stuff which stinks. If they keep it this way.

 

I wonder what the reasoning is behind the change. I do not mind the change at all if it helps with other things. 

Just curious why

Hello good. I wanted to report that dynamic numerals have mysteriously appeared on the fuselage of the Spanish Hornets, completely breaking the texture. Does anyone know what could be the cause? Thank you.

Is this a vanilla or a custom livery? If it's a custom one, the structure of the description.lua file changed. You can find the new format by looking into any of the liveries included with the base game, in CoreMods.

The catch I'm showing is an official livery, with no modifications.

I won't touch anything for now. I trust that the development team will offer an official solution.

 

 

So since thats the default this means that its not just the stock aircraft and it will have to be patched

am i correct
