jackd
Hi; has any one has some tips what to set for controlling a Huey or other choppers for a Warthog set, , if you don't have a Collective hardware stick? I feel like riding this:
razo+r
Use your throttle as the collective and the stick as usual. Then bind anything to it you want and then it's just a matter of practising helicopters. 1

jackd
Well, after a few tips from y'all, thanks BTW, and a lot of experimenting i can get the thing called Huey up in the air, and also even land it with my Warthog set. But i am stuck at setting the engine and moving controls right for flying forward (and backwards) at a decent speed. Any ideas? I set the Warthogs throttle axis to the above collective, and the Warthog slider to the throttle function.
razo+r
Leave throttle/RPM control as is. Use a combined input of collective and cyclic/stick to move forward/backward.
GremlinIV
you tube is your friend here, it even gives pictures and setup advice - just search DCS Huey and watch the world of tutorials roll out before your eyes. Then come back here to ask tips if/for any thing that your doing wrong rather than how, will make your journey faster for sure. Hope this helps You can even add to the search "DCS UH-1 Huey Warthog Setup" - then same for how to fly.... Volator
And read the manual. It provides very detailed information on how to use which control inputs and when (like slightly left and aft cyclic and left pedal at lift-off and so on...) 1 1./JG71 "Richthofen" - Seven Eleven
