There is a lot more going on in the cockpit so you should expect a frame drop. 

With that said can you attach your dcs log and dxdiag we can take a look. 

a short track replay showing this issue will also help

Make sure all unofficial mods are removed, run a slow repair of DCS or verify if steam, and make sure windows and all drivers are up to date.

From what? 40 to 20 or 120 to 100?

You can loose 20% easiliy by turning on mirrors and moving maps or a video feed on a MFD. That's not a bug, that's just more load on your system, because there is load of more stuff to calculate and render.

Outside view (chase cam e.g.) is the least demanding scenery you can have.
