450Devil Posted August 4, 2023 Posted August 4, 2023 I tried to use the night vision goggles in the F-18 but they first showed up pointing left and zoomed in. After searching the forums I found a thread in the F-16 pages that stated that SSAO needed to be switched off. I did this and re-entered the mission and switched on the NVG with the result the they now point slightly right of the HUD and still zoomed in. Screenshot and track attached. This was in single thread not MT. F-18C NVG.trk
450Devil Posted August 4, 2023 Author Posted August 4, 2023 Further to the above post. I have now tried using the NVG in the same mission but in the MT version. All is now OK with the NVG being aligned to where I am looking when it comes on (in this case directly at the HUD). Screenshot attached. For information - I fly on a 49 inch screen and use TrackIR. 1
