Layer_8 Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 Hi all, I guess it is a handling issue on my side and not a bug. Always when I start taxiing and unlock the tail wheel, the apache starts to oversteer on turns quite badly, even with minimal rudder inputs at about 27% torque and collective minimal to the left and about 1/4 forward. When I try Countering the oversteering it is even worsening the issue (like pilot induced oscillation on fixed wings). I thought I knew how to use the anti torque pedals, in flight I don't seem to have any trouble at all, did anyone experience the same and knows what I do wrong? Best regards Layer8
ED Team Solution BIGNEWY Posted August 8, 2023 ED Team Solution Posted August 8, 2023 Hi, take a look here Quote I taxi with it locked on straight aways all the time. I unlock it prior to turns. You don’t have to have it unlocked when ground taxiing. It’s at the discretion of the pilot, do what works and makes sense for the situation. Just remember to unlock it prior to a turn, re-lock it after the turn. Hope it helps 1 Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
