JPT emergency regulation switch - CE auto; EE arret on startup; manual states setting to off - What's correct?

Hello,

switching between CE and EE of the F1, I stumbled across the JPT emergency regulation switch.

I usually do cold & dark ramp starts.

In the CE, the switch is in the auto position in a cold and dark plane:

In the EE, the switch is in the arret / off position in a cold and dark plane:

The manual on page 138 in CABIN CHECKS section say to set it to off:

Now my questions:

1. What's the correct normal position? Auto or off? As it has an auto position, I assume this should be the preferred position to do the engine it's own regulation and only in the event of failure switch it off?

2. Why is the default position different between CE and EE?

3. Is setting to auto is missing in after startup checklist?

Chuck's guide suggests also setting it to auto. (@Charly_Owl)

Thanks

Jens

@gulredrel good catch, thanks! The switch should be set to auto, however, in the EE, the 3D model is reversed so arret (off) is actually auto and auto is actually off. We will try to correct this ASAP.

We will also correct the manual.
