My Open Beta was corrupted somehow, and tried to repair DCS but never fixed it. I decided to uninstall it and the release version, but now when I try to download and install it, it only goes to "C".

C drive doesn't have enough space on it, that's why it was originally on "E", but now that DCS is deleted, I can't get it back on "E". Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated.

When you open the installer it's on the 3rd page iirc, you can choose your installation folder and drive. You have to navigate to where you want it, the usual thing as with any other program.

You're not the first user facing this issue. I also had it a few months ago, but I could not explain it. That must be some bug in the installer, when something is found in the registry, but I don't know where to look.

Please create a support ticket: log into DCS website, click Support, then Create a new ticket.

Maybe you're on to something. Wonder if OP cleans the old registry settings, or just change them, if that would solve it.

OP, I know you wrote that a repair didn't fix anything, so I wonder if you're issue actually is in the Saved Games.
I have NEVER had a problem with a full/slow repair. It basically resets DCS to factory defaults in Core, but it doesn't touch anything in Saved Games.
Next time, just move the whole installation folder from C to E, do repair, (not sure if that changes the registry. If not, just change keys manually, it's super easy, not even necessary), and change your shortcuts, and you're good to go.

And I cab highly recommended Skatezilla's tool for the future.

Cheers!

I'm not sure what happened or why, but this morning I did another install and this time it offered the location option. It took awhile, but now I have DCS OB again! Yay!

Thanks
