SC_SquadCentral Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 A new check box has appeared in the mission editor. When you place an aircraft in the mission editor, right below the heading is a check box for ( Password ). I thought I could use this to lock the aircraft until the password was given in a message. But the aircraft does not show up in the multiplayer list when the mission is started. Does anybody know what this check box for a password actually does ? I have attached a png for reference.
Solution razo+r Posted August 13, 2023 Solution Posted August 13, 2023 That checkbox hides the slot until someone enters the set password into the box at the bottom of the slot selection screen. Once the correct password has been entered, the corresponding slots will show up to the person who entered the password. 1 1
SC_SquadCentral Posted December 30, 2023 Author Posted December 30, 2023 Thanks, but does this allow all players to see it or just the person entering the password ?
razo+r Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 The slot only shows up for the player who entered the password. 1
SC_SquadCentral Posted December 30, 2023 Author Posted December 30, 2023 Even in the multiplayer environment and the player dies, he is still the only player to see this aircraft ?
razo+r Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 (edited) Only the player(s) who entered the password can see the slot in the slot selection screen. But obviously, everyone can see the aircraft once it spawned. The slot itself will still be invisible to the players who have not entered the password. The slot showing up and the aircraft showing up are two seperate things. Edited December 30, 2023 by razo+r
