Reiskorn01 Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 I´m very sad because my DCS causes problems. I have a new german DVD version of Black Shark. My Graphic card is a Nvidia 8800 GTS and it runs with the drivers 182.08 I did a normal install of DCS and the automatic activasion via internet went well. When I start the game I chose training missions and every time I leave a mission (pressing Esc Key) the dcs.exe crashes and tells that there´s a problem and dcs.exe has to be shut down. I deinstalled the game and installed it again. Same mistake. So please help me !!! my system is Joystick: Saitek X52pro Logitech G15 Mainboard: Asus P5N-E Sli Graphic Card: Nvidia 8800 GTS HDD: 2x Samsung HD501LJ à 500GB CPU: Intel Core2 6600 @ 2,40GHz Memory: 2GB RAM OS System: Windows XP Prof. SP3 DCS Black Shark verion 1.00 German Edition Best regards Reiskorn01

ED Team USSR_Rik Posted March 6, 2009 ED Team Posted March 6, 2009 Could you try to change your keyboard to simple one? Just for checking. Reiskorn01 Posted March 6, 2009 Author Posted March 6, 2009 I have only one keyboard a saitek G15 and it works with all other flightsims on this computer such as FSX, FS2004, Flaming Cliffs, IL-2, Lock On, WOV etc. Do you really think it´s the matter of the keyboard that the dcs.exe crashes ???

Distiler Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Try to install latest version of directX (I think it is included in the dvd). Never hurts and sometimes fixes corrupted files: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&displaylang=en AMD Ryzen 1400 // 16 GB DDR4 2933Mhz // Nvidia 1060 6GB // W10 64bit // Microsoft Sidewinder Precision 2
Reiskorn01 Posted March 10, 2009 Author Posted March 10, 2009 I found the mistake. The problem with die directout.dll of the X52pro was the cause of the CTD´s I removed the file from the directory and everything works. I´m so happy that not the G15 was the mistake because I like this keyboard very much. Thanks everyone for trying to help me. Now I can go ahead learning controlling a helicopter  Best regards from germany Reiskorn01
