hassata Posted March 13, 2009 Share Posted March 13, 2009 Hi: I'm waiting on my copy of BS. I'm running an opteron 170 2 gigs of ram 2x7800 gtx win xp. Used to run FC pretty well. Will that be enough to get good fps to get familiar with systems and flight only? I'm thinking of upgrading to an athlon x2 6000 (that's as best as I can get) and vista home 64-will that make a significant difference? GuntiNDDS Posted March 13, 2009 Share Posted March 13, 2009 I run @ Athlon 64 X2 4200+ and i get between 5 and ~40 fps. i get the low fps specially when i look to the right, at the sign with the adf-channels. if i keep looking forward, i get pretty good fps. i guess you'll be fine the 6000'er.
