Plese, attach the screenshot with error window.

I got an error with the Launcher when I set my "Catalyst AI" driver setting from standard to advanced. You have an ATI card, and made any changes to driver setting?

Hello,

Im not able to reproduce the Error.

What i did was the following:

1) i created a Mission, just placing the admiral kuzentsov in the sea, all standard settings (Default),

2) i saved the Mission startet it, then i had the cam view to the Carrier,

3) i canceld the mission (ESC --> Exit) then i had the CTD couldnt open the Launcher.exe till reinstalling DCS.

My graphiccard is a NVIDIA 8500... befor i reinstalled the DCS, i updatet to the newest Graphic driver... May be it was such an issue......

Befor i runed DCS with the GeForce drvierversion 178.13 now 182.??

I createt some missions the issue didndt popup anymore

i had this problem as well, fixed it same way you did. i had this several times and even had to reinstall vista, after replacing my hard-drive with a new one i didnt have anymore problems, the hard drive was starting to go bad after dcs crashed in multiplayer on a self created mission but my hard drive might already have been bad. I dont know if its caused by dcs, same thing happened to my dvd-player. the new dvd player is starting to have problems as well now but i cant say its caused by dcs crashing on self-made missions when hosting...

its probably not caused by dcs but if u get boot problems and failing hard drives/dvd drives make sure to post it here!

(i use ati driver not nvidia)
