71st_Mastiff Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 I guess this sim is a lost cause? I have yet to reciev any help on the controler issues is it that everyone went to DCS Black Shark? RedTiger Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 Sorry for my response in the last thread, I truly thought you were being silly seeing as way you responded to my post in that necro thread. Are you flying 1.02 or Flaming Cliffs? 1.02 does not have the zoom access for TrackIR? You might also want to check if you have what ever axis you use for the zoom set as "axis" or "slider'. That might make a difference. If that doesn't help, could you explain the problems you are experiencing in a bit more detail?

RedTiger Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 What controller issues? Max http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=16973&page=2 The problem is that someone necroed that thread from over 3 years ago and he posted in it. Now that there's a dedicated thread, more might respond.
RED9R1pper Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 ellaborate on the thread you've made Mastiff, or else we can't help. From the looks of the post, are you asking about 6-dof for trackir in LOMAC:FC? If so, no 6-dof, only 2-dof. DCS supports 6-dof though. If this isnt the answer your looking for and still need help, post back. :P Laterz [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
S77th-konkussion Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 The zoom view on your track ir is not a LOMAC axis. You enable it on the TiR software. The various view axis vary depending on the game ans your TiR like has already been noted. The zoom didn't come about at all until TiR3 I think. Assuming you have a 3 or better- Only LOMAC FC recognizes the zoom. LoMAC 1.02 or older sees yaw/ pitch only. SO- if you have a TiR3 or better, and you have FC, look in your TiR software, and turn the Z axis on. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
S77th-konkussion Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 You CAN set a "zoom view" axis in lockon to a rotary or a button on your flightstick- however results vary. This axis did not get along well with older Saitek products- there was a horrible "shaking" (rapid, small zoom in/out). Try it out- see what happens. I found that it was better to skip the axis, and program it t my stick with the button commands. I have a TiR2 Pro- so no zooming for me on that. I have the gold version patched to 1.12b and yes I get that exact problem your telling me about I put the zoom in out feature on the slider and it works sort of. all flippy floppy. now for some reason in the track ir 4 pro I have a z movement but it wont let the view back out more to 122 degrees. its like my nose is against the windscreen. I will defiantly set it up using the zoom keys on the hat switch just like i have it on IL2. 71st_Mastiff Posted March 20, 2009 Author Posted March 20, 2009 ok tried to get the x52 throttle to work it lets me set it but I can not cut power all the way down, it stops at 40%. Prophet Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Seems it needs to be recalibrated. Replug the X52 in.
