Unrelated to the above video, @TeTeT Maybe a list of all included assets can be pinned to page 1 of this thread, and then updated as new assets are added.  It would be a nice reference for making sure that we have everything installed, and showing up correctly in the sim.

About two years ago we started the Vietnam War Vessels mod. With help of the talented MagnumRedSkull this video was created, enjoy:

I think those two entries should be deleted for historical reality.

Thanks @western_JPN, fixed in our dev version now.

Guys - can you create a wire frame for the CH46. Its a very complicated skin and I'm struggling to find many of the small parts, particularly around the rotor heads and wheel assemblies.

The model and uvmap have already changed on Odyseus computer - so the existing liveries will need to change as well once his updated version hits the streets. I don't think it's a good idea to do detailed liveries right now for the Phrog.

LOL, I know you said this was going to happen, but I couldn't help myself.  However, I will wait until the new mapping is released and then move my "Decals" onto the new map.

Meantime we're rigging the HH-2 Seasprite helicopters with the new rotor blur. So far SH-2F and UH-2A have been done and are being tested. We're also testing a new way to fold the rotor.

Also we want to update the MiG-21MF model and textures, rigging for DCS has just been started, from ModelViewer:

EXPECT?!  That’s just bad manners,  especially considering the price you have paid.

Some non-native english speakers may not be aware of the different meanings of “expect” and “hoping for”.

However, native speakers cannot use this excuse.

Let's cut @Growlers_1-8 some slack. It's their first post and I agree that they are non native English speakers. I will join in and also wish for a PFM and F-13 variant - certainly a wishlist item for 2026!

A complicated skin to work on, this took me several days and its far from completed.  I do enjoy a challenge though, looking forward to the revised atricle and its release.

I do realise the Canadian version is very different to this, same name but different airframe and all manner of changes, but this is as close as its likely to get.

Yeah, the uvmap is really made for work in Substance Painter or other such tools. I'll check with Odyseus if he can simplify it for the next version.

There was no UV map in the pack you sent me, this was all done the long hard trial and error way, which is why there are still many errors in it. Many bits are so small its almost impossible to identify them beside many other small bits, hence trail and error.

I have found, with other aircraft mod's, that you can often idetify small parts using the RoughMet or the Normal texturess, but in this case they were not detailed enough for that.

A really good and very detailed wire frame is the best solution.

A little more work today.  Still a lot of stencils to add.

Looking good so far, 👍

but I guess some more dirt would make it look even more better.

Looks to clean  I guess...

I have just downloaded this - and I can see how useful it will be, with one slight drawback. Its works perfectly with in game models but I cant see a way to get it to recognise Saved Games models texture files.

I know that subject has been discussed to death in the forums over the years and I admit to loosing interest in it a long time ago- BUT - Has that problem ever been resolved - and if the answer is yes can anyone point me at the thread please.

I have always taken the view that if Western_JPN says something is good, then its good.  Thanks again mate.
