Assign actions individually to units in the same AI Group

I was wondering if there is any way to assign different actions to the units of the same group. For example, I have one bomber group with three B52s, and I want to assign each unit with a carpet bombing action to bomb different locations within the same vicinity. Can you do that in the mission editor?

There is a work around to creat 3 different groups and have them fly together until they break on target, but having one group is much more elegant!
