Steel Jaw Posted June 23 Posted June 23 Well I made a working keybind for show pilot body, but I can't bind it to my HOTAS. 1 "You see, IronHand is my thing" My specs: W10 Pro, I5/11600K o/c to 4800 @1.32v, 64 GB 3200 XML RAM, Red Dragon 7800XT/16GB, monitor: GIGABYTE M32QC 32" (31.5" Viewable) QHD 2560 x 1440 (2K) 165Hz.

I don't use it - but it is enabled by default so I have to get out of VR to find ctrl-p every damn time. I'd love an option to disable the pilot body (and joystick) so it never appears. My problem is that the pilot's left arm blocks your view of the trim tab indicators so you can't actually see how much trim you're using. Less of an issue when you're in the air and can judge it by the plane's behavior, but a serious problem when you're preparing to take off. Edited July 9 by Saxman

On my system the pilot body is off by default and I have to switch it on to see it. I bound the command to an easy to reach while in VR key. I just reach out, find the correct edge of my keyboard and press the key. That being said I normally bind it to a toggle on the base of my throttle for easy access. However since in the current build that isn't possible I actually figured out a temporary key bind all on my own until the bug is fixed. 1 AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 8-Core Processor | Asus TUFF nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 OC | MSI MPG X670E Carbon WIFI Motherboard | 64GB G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB RAM | Windows 11 Pro x64 | Virpil MT-50 CM2 Throttle | Virpil Alpha on WarBRD base | Virpil Ace 1 Rudder Pedals | Saitek Pro Flight Throttle Quadrant (x2) |Acer x34 P 3440 x 1440 | Pimax Crystal Light VR | DCS on NVME
Steel Jaw Posted July 9 Posted July 9 Still need the ability to bind to a controller for VR please.... The pilot body and Joystick always return when I respawn in MP. This is especially annoying in the Tomcat as the stick hides the lower display.
RedeyeStorm Posted July 11 Posted July 11 There is a setting in, I think in the ‘gameplay’ or ‘misc’ tab that has an option to enable to show pilot body when available. Removing the selection disables the pilot body by default. 2
