DCS: Mig-29/35

I wonder if we will see this bird in DCS one day.... its my favourite

military aircraft ever, most beautiful, maneuverable.

 

After Ka-50 and A10-Warthog it would be nice to see 1 Russian Aircraft like

Mig-29

It's really not up to our vote. It's a matter of what materials they have to sufficiently model aircraft.

 

Although not certain, Wags wrote that ED is thinking about AH-64, A-10A, A-10C, Mig-29A, F-15C, Su-27 and Mi-24 for future modules.

Mig 29a has allready been confirmed as "on the list" , as well as all of the others Erdem posted , and as well as those, they are also looking at the F16c !

 

I believe that these are the modules they have "in some stage of development" , and so there may be others not on that named list, but are possibly on the horizon.

Bare in mind, ED think they will average 9 months between modules , so we are allready looking at a list that is 6+ years into the future!

Mi-24 is super cool for sure. It has a lot of possibilities as well besides combat. Troop evacuation, or VIP transport etc.

 

Not sure why, but the idea of bringing troops to and from an LZ is exciting to me.

I had only very cursory knowledge of the Su-25 before LockOn but immediately fell in love with it even before FC. Before that all I really knew was that it was a kick-ass beauty of a plane, knowledge I had gained through an Airfix model of the aircraft that I assembled as a kid.

 

With DCS they then nailed the one helicopter that has been another childhood fav since the old Werewolf vs Comanche games.

 

So I feel confident in saying that ED knows their shit in how they select aircraft and I will happily devour absolutely anything they feel I should fly.
