MoGas Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 so you can smell your sh##, when you get engaged? :megalol::lol::thumbup:
DPS Posted March 31, 2009 Author Posted March 31, 2009 What a horrible idea, MoGas. But a good one nonetheless. May try and implement that smell in Smell of Victory v1.03
Vekkinho Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 I'm sitting on a kerosene barrel for the same effect! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Namenlos Ein Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 Next must have accessory is The Taste of Victory.
DPS Posted March 31, 2009 Author Posted March 31, 2009 Taste of Victory. Not sure how Taste of Victory would work, but an interesting idea anyway. Smell of Victory just works the same way as those plug-in air fresheners you can buy for your home or car. If DCS ever get around to doing two-seaters I might add the aroma of undeodorized/nervous co-pilot/weapons systems operator.
EtherealN Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 The guy on the right there looks positively apprehensive. :P [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Daniel "EtherealN" Agorander | Даниэль "эфирныйн" Агорандер Intel i7 2600K @ 4.4GHz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz, ASUS GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1GB, Samsung 830series 512GB SSD, Corsair AX850w, two BENQ screens and TM HOTAS Warthog DCS: A-10C Warthog FAQ | DCS: P-51D FAQ | Remember to read the Forum Rules | | | Life of a Game Tester
monotwix Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 GPS you’re genius. I can’t wait for a sniff now. I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully.
Brit_Radar_Dude Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 DPS generally comes up with something side-splittingly funny around Xmas time and April 1st. It kinda reminds me of something I made many years ago when I was an student in Manchester living in a house decorated in a style that I can best describe as late Victorian squalor. We had a mouse problem, so a piece of vero-board (picture below if you dont know what vero-board is) connected straight to the 240v mains - alternate strips live and neutral. A small piece of chees resting on some clingfilm in the centre. The mouse steps onto the vero-board and POW. We found one mouse more than 3 feet away!! True Story. Luckily for the Electronic Engineering world, I moved into Software instead. 2 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Sorry Death, you lose! It was Professor Plum....
shaggy Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 Haha we have a mouse problem over here ! I should try this! Intel Core i7-8700 3,20GHz - EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 - 32Gb Ram - DCS on 500 GB SSD - Windows 10 - Thrusmaster Warthog - Thrustmaster TPR pedals - Track Ir 5 - Samsung Odyssey+ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] http://www.virtualredarrows.com

DPS Posted April 1, 2009 Author Posted April 1, 2009 Brit_Radar_Dude, your invention is probably a lot safer to use than the Smell of Victory device.
