solved DCS 2.9.3 Game not start

The game not start.

Try to uninstall and later reinstall the new update, i.e. did a clean install of 2.9.3, and it do not work either. What is the problem?

I found these two files in saved games. 

dcs.log dcs.log.old

Same here, also in the Steam version as in the local version.

DCS doesn't start. (a few seconds you can see "dcs.lock" in file-explorer but then nothing happens.

It seems that no one have a solution to the problem. Still, att this time, the game does not start. By the way, the update window comes forward, but after that nothing happens.

are you an oculus user? 

Oculus public test channel driver is currently crashing DCS, please untick and roll back the driver. The issue is reported to the team who will investigate what oculus has changed.

Oculus VR user and the last PTC update (V63) is producing a conflict with DCS. The workaround is to go back to v62

check your antivirus isnt creating a problem for DCS, some have reported false positives

I am not a Oculus user, but I started searching yesterday, to find out if the windows update installed something like that, but I find nothing like Oculus or Meta files on my computer.

Noting like that, i.e. that my antivirus detect some false positive. But I have not run i yet.

check the antivirus has not quarantined the files if it has it could create problems

Did a full scan with F-secure, it found nothing, I've also checked the quarantine, nothing there.

It seems it had something to do with the anti-virus. I disable it, and then the login window appears, now I started to download all my modules. The weekend is saved!

I just did the update too, and now have same issue, DCS will not start. No error given.

Please create your own thread and attach your dcs.log (from Saved Games/DCS.../Logs).

@hawa0835 FreightDog says his problem was caused by F-Secure.

Run F-secure as administrator, then you can go in and exempt DCS from being blocked by a feature called DeepGuard.

very strange, F-Secure has no log of any blockings neither Deepguard nor Antivirus BUT it is as you said. After deactivating Antivirus and Deepguard the login window of DCS pops up again. I have no clue if it is DCS or F-Secure who has troubles here.
