Can you take off from the LONGER ramp of FREE Admiral Kuznetsov?

Hey guys!

I'm new to DCS and I was wondering if there's any way to take off from the LONG ramp of the FREE Admiral Kuznetsov, not the 2017 version.

In the editor it seems like you can only take off from the short ramp.

Just because the editor places you there doesn't mean you have to take off from there. Why not simply taxi back to the long ramp?

I don't remember if you can select starting position in ME for Kuznetsov. If yes - just select the parking spot 1-3.

If no - you can spawn 2 AI aircraft before you and have player aircraft activated 1 second later.

yes but that's not what I'm looking for lol, I'd like to istant spawn where I want to take off from that's why I'm asking! 

But that for sure can be done also!!...

It seems like with the free version it does not let you select the parking spot.

Ex. mission starts at 8:00:00 and so do AI aircraft. For your aircraft start time set 8:00:01.

Ok I somehow figured out how to make it but my plane will spawn in the "short" ramp as always so I dont think it works, also anyway I'd have the other 2 planes on the ship occupying the space and I couldnt take off

Can't test atm but it should work - you'll have to wait for the AI to launch of course.

The free version does allow you to assign a takeoff slot/ramp to an aircraft.

Draconus method also works. Here's an example:

MY BAD THEN!!!

I used to select "take off from ramp" but seems like you have to select "take off from runway"!

Cause last time I selected " take off from runway " it would move my plane to another random airbase in the map, that was strange!

Not random but nearest and only if you had incompatible aircraft selected.
