I know / think this has changed.  In NAV mode for example, it used to be TMS up (long?) to snap to steerpoint 1 (for example), this is no longer the case, what is the current method please?

It has never been TMS UP long,

it is TMS AFT if TGP is not in POINT or AREA track.

Clearly I am missing something.  Here is the track.

I set AP to ATT/ALT hold

Click FCR - TGP

SOI TGP

TMS AFT

Nothing happens.

If there is a current video for this please send me the link.

Snap TGP to waypoint.trk 241.71 kB · 1 download

Everything seems correct here. Your steerpoint is directly in front of you at 16000ft. Try setting the steerpoint at ground level

This is an underrated answer 😉 I just swore things were broken in the viper and then realized my waypoint was NOT set to the ground.

This answer will help someone else too 🙂
