Don Rudi Posted March 11, 2024 Posted March 11, 2024 As the title says, the track/replay of the Huey is acting weird. it often recognizes a crash when there is none, resulting in stuttering airframe and broken Huey taking off again. Daemoc Posted March 12, 2024 Posted March 12, 2024 I personally have had very good results from the replay tracks using the Huey. Even with long 1+ hour long sorties, but it does have it's limitations. Taking damage during a replay that did not happen during the original flight can cause all sorts of issues like the one above. It looks to me like to may have recorded a previously recorded track that was broken. Always save the original track as it's own file that way if the replay breaks you can try the original again. This is the original track and I did not receive any damage. I removed everything unnecessary from the mission to specifically create this bug report track. That type of information is not recorded in the track and can vary on the same track each time you replay it. Also, that can't be the original replay as the attached replay has recorded your camera inputs from your LZ during your flight. The original would have been primarily from your cockpit POV. Again, I am not saying your original would have been crash free on another replay, but this one is obviously broken with the crash baked in. Daemoc Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 (edited) I figured it out. It is door gunners that cause the tracks to break. It is 100% repeatable. I have done a large number of replays with the Huey and never had an issue. I just started making missions where I was using door gunners and the tracks have been breaking ever since. For now, if you want a Huey replay just do not use door gunners. You can have them equipped, you just can't let them fire. I have attached a few tracks for an example. I tried to keep them as simple as possible and short as possible. That said, the ground fire can get a lucky hit in sometimes and just take out the huey, but I have not had that happen in multiple replays of these tracks. Just an FYI. No Guns With Guns I also have a few videos uploading as I type as proof. I will edit and link once they are done. Maybe we can have @Flappie push this along.
