Namenlos Ein Posted April 26, 2009 Author Posted April 26, 2009 Now I doubt that event ever happened because still no confirmations till this time. Maybe this thread should be deleted.Uumph, I hope it's not the brand new #901 or #902…According that it was (if was) brand new #904 and pictures of this aircraft was never published before.

Pilotasso Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 (edited) Heavily modified planes tend to crash early just as completely new planes. This SU-35 incident is not an exception. Early last year we had a brand new F-16MLU M4 trashed on its flight test and another was damaged after running off the edge of runway. sniffer Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 904? WTF? What about "903"? It was one of four Su-35s built to this time. AFAIK That was third (even if it wasx #904) but who knows what they had in hangars :P Today should be planned first flight :noexpression: It was something with brake system. Plane get out of runway, left engine fired up, pilot succesfully ejected... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Wilde Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 It is not big price isn't it? oO Interesting though, that the 30MKI is also quoted with a price tag of some $37 million. Somewhere I read, that the 24-36 Su-35BM ordered by the Russian airforce are a special version "for inner use". I suspect some of the avionics are different to those in export versions.
