TrackIR5 is not working

After the most recent patch of DCS in May 2024, all my input controls, except the mouse quit working. I followed steps to default to my Thrustmaster controls and was able to get the keyboard working but my trackIr is not. I can see it in the TrackIR app running fine and when I unplug and replug in the receiver on the laptop during the game, I can see that the game does see the TrackIR but still not working.

my TrackIR profile is saved at the location below.

C:\Users\<USER NAME>\AppData\Roaming\NaturalPoint\TrackIR 5\Profiles

The 2 basic steps to such issues are:

a) Repair DCS World (Windows Start Menu -> Eagle Dynamics -> Repair DCS World) and select slow and full repair; it should take some 5 to 10 minutes, unless you still run DCS from an HDD or have a slow Internet connection, in which case it might take longer.

b) Rename the folder

C:\Users\{Your Windows Username}\Saved Games\DCS
or
C:\Users\{Your Windows Username}\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta

And then take it from there.

Thanks, that worked, I had to relocate my files for my Thrustmaster T16000 but your solution did fix my issue with the TrackIR5...much appreciated
