Lock On Web Ring - reloaded

Gents,

 

some of you may have noticed, that the Lock-On Web Ring was down for some days - here's the reason:

 

Due to the fact, that we are now dealing with two simulations provided by ED, the old 'Lock-On Web Ring' was outdated, so I prepared a new on:

 

[highlight]Let me introduce to you Lock On Web Ring 2.0:[/highlight]

 

 

New scripts, new features !

 

It's now called 'Modern Air Combat' to make it suitable for a broader audience, by its name and goals no longer limited to the original Lock-On / Flaming Cliffs.

 

It also now features four major links, right below the logo, pointing towards

 

- this forum (sponsored by ED) as the main anchor of the international community

- to lockonfiles.com, a site contributed by Thomas D Weiss,

- to modern-air-combat.de, a forum for the German speaking community which also covers several other flight simulations and

- to lockonforum.de, another German forum dealing with Lock-On/Flaming Cliffs and DCS:BS, once founded by me (long time ago).

 

Please subscribe and replace the outdated Lock On Web Ring data as the old scripts are no longer operational.

I didn't notice that there was a problem with the database. I managed to recover it, and the web ring is fully up and running again.

 

I'd like to ask those webmasters who already subscribed to re-activate the script code on their main pages and

 

-of course -

 

[highlight]all other Lock-On /DCS sites to join the web ring.[/highlight]

 

Ad-free, php compatible and easy to install / adjust.
