fixed for next update Raven one mission (NOT domiant fury)

Hello,

 

I've had to make a post on here as I'm completely unable to on the other fourm. I'm stuck on mission 2 of Raven one. I've read a lot on it and can't find anything to fix. Smoke does to attach to the refuel tanker and just after burn and goes AWOL for miles. Is there any fixes for this. Again sorry this is  not Domiant Fury this is the first one they got out. I generally can't find any work arounds on this. Thanks!

Hey, we fixed this several times but I believe I have one final fix that should make this mission work like a charm that will be out with next update. Most of the issues are linked with core DCS problems (and they affect only some players), but after hours of testing we found some workarounds... but you need to be a little more patient + apologies for any inconveniences.

I'm not sure if my bug is the same but it does affect mission 2.

I take off BEFORE smoke as detailed in the brief. I track to waypoint 1 and get the radio message that im tracking to waypoint 2. 

Smoke gets airborne, climbs to 1900ft and then just does a big circuit around the ship, he doesn't land or track anywhere in particular. He simply does not join up.

I'm NOT running any mods or voice attack.

I have tried this in both ST and MT, the issue is the same. Have had to give up for now.

I'm getting something more like RogansKirby. I finish AA refueling then hit the spacebar and Smoke starts pre-contact then flies away. I'm using MT with Voice Attack and no other mods. I've seen somewhere where that could be the issue. MT and Voice Attack. Is that correct

Update - I tried my earlier statement and to no avail. Same thing is happening. Could it be that I'm using Autostart?

Yes. Something changed with the last update. It is not like I spent around 15h with testers trying to fix previous AI bugs and once that was done, this new one was introduced.. I suspect it has something to do with the upcoming taxi directors. I'll try to find a fix.

Hello everyone,

I've been attempting to replay the campaign following the latest update on August 20, 2024.

MT, VR

The same issue occurred with M02; it was skipped.

In M03, the wingman heads for refueling and becomes perpetually stuck behind the tanker.

Meanwhile, campaigns from Badger are running smoothly.

The refuelling issues for both missions should be fixed as of the last update we submitted to ED. Unfortunately, the DCS update introduced a new issue with CASE II / III weather with Mission 2.

I confirm that both should be fixed for the next patch unless it introduces some new bugs. That is becoming a vicious circle with M02 and M03: I fix it, and the patch releasing the fix introduces a new bug, so I have to fix it again with the team. Happened 3 times already...
