Sulman Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 (edited) Ordered last night; looking forward to exploring the DCS world lower and slower. Of course, it was ready just in time for me to go to work this morning! Very impressed with the UI, and just had time to watch a demo. Was weird seeing a clickable 'pit in the Lomac world. Can't wait to try it all out! I'd got better performance than I was expecting; Can run Lomac/FC maxed (apart from visibility range due to cities slowing things up) and am pretty pleased. Rotary craft are terrifying in X-Plane, so I'm hoping the twin-rotor arrangement makes this one a bit kinder! Edited May 6, 2009 by Sulman [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
nemises Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 heh great one!.. Well, the primary thing to not get alarmed about is how "weird" it feels at first dealing with the AP hold channels (esepcially heading hold), but trust me, you get used to it in no time, and it becomes very VERY flyable..just pres and hold trim button, and only release it when you go hands off stick, or want to fly trimmed as is.. Use ctrl-enter to display how your contrls are currently trimmed incase you need to re-trim the rudders to neutral (common problem).
