hawkhero Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Hi, Is there any Saitek X52 Pro profiles out there for it? I have not programed any bottons yet using the BS option. I just got the game yesterday and love it so far! Greg
Cap_Z Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 X52 profiles are so quick, easy and fun to create I'll never understand why so many people ask others to do it for them. Besides what is intuitive for one person may look all wack to another. But, if you insist, here is mine. http://tinyurl.com/c4h43n
crazysundog Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 I would give you mine, but you could program your own in less time than it would take you to memorize my convoluted, half-baked, over-complicated, sideways, mashed up attempt at a pr0file!! seriously tho, its fun making your own!
Cooter Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Creating your own profile would be better, the x52 is extremely easy to program. That way you don't have to keep checking what button does what if you use someone elses profile. What I do is the basics first(axis controls) Then I'll fly a bit and decide where I want the landing gear to be put(on my X52 I use T1), eject(T6), guns(trigger), bombs @ rockets(button 2) etc. You wont regret it. I tried someone else profile once and thought it was a hassle, but that's me.:pilotfly:
CyBerkut Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 There is one significant benefit to starting from someone else's profile, even if you intend to assign nearly everything differently... you'll already have all those key combinations for the commands that they entered in. You can then just use the pull down list while re-assigning those commands to wherever *you* want them. (This is assuming you are both using the default key combinations for the various commands). [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] There's no place like 127.0.0.1

crazysundog Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Have you assigned a repeating key press to a rotary or the mode switch?
