soccerboy
A friend send me the new original Effect-Files of 1.0.1 and I had a look at the mod. It seems in 1.0.1 one soundfile was removed. So the mod have one soundfile more than the game needs. The file is named: RotorNoise.wav So the mod should work like in 1.00 not quite. the sounds work flawlessly but the only problem is you lose the new Trimmer Click sounds of the trimmer mechanism unless you modify one of the .cfg files inside the mod, i think it was sounds.cfg. but other than that it works with no problem. Edit: interesting link. good thing i can read german :) Edited August 17, 2009 by soccerboy

Edit: The base of my post is my own mod which I have done by my selfe on my PC for my personal use! I have edit TangoRomeos mod and did it Modman compatible. In this case the mod will work on 1.0.1 without problems. No idea how it works with this modifications in the .cfg files of the original mod!!! RazorbackNL
3. Delete SampleDurationTable.lua in your /sound folder. I have manually installed the LoFI version of this mod into Black Shark, but I can't find the SampleDurationTable.lua file. It is not in my /Sounds folder. There is only a messagedurationtable.lua in that folder. Edited September 19, 2009 by Razorback[NL] Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi) | AMD Ryzen 9 5900X @ 4,5Ghz | 128Gb DDR4 3200Mhz | beQuiet! Cionara
Edt (Sorry for doublepost but who cares nobody spams just to get Posts here) I edited the sounds like in Dragons german Tutorial. There were also other sounds I focused on. The TV3117 Engine sound in the cockpit. Should it be that loud because it is like that in real life ? Because I found it a lot louder then the original and even louder as the outside sound. I couldn't hear my radio anymore. The GearEnd-Sound is too long you have to cut it. The gear sounds are too silent and if I turn em louder my speakers nearly busted so I took the original sounds. Same with the cannon. Frazer
DCS BS Sound tweak. I collected the best rotor sounds available in the community and tweaked them to sound very close to reality. Can be installed over original sounds or any soundmod. Download: Deleted [EDIT] HokumSounds_v1 Features: - Replaces the Ka-50 rotor and engine sounds. - Sound.cfg has been tweaked. The "HokumSounds" are tested in "DCS: Black Shark 1.0.1c" and can be installed with ModMan 7 or replaced by hand. Frazer
Thanks Frazer! I also checked out your soundpack for Lo - it`s very nice. I don't have Lo installed atm, but i think i remember the radius param working correctly in Lo, i.e. beyond ~ 1000m ? I tried to solve this issue and I couldn't find it, I think this limitation could be one of the "anti cheat" measures of ED. Can someone from ED/testers confirm this?
