YoYo Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 I feel like something has changed in the patch DCS 2.9.6.57650. Now the "heat effect" seems to have been reduced, and the FLIR image appears more faded and similar, rather than more distinct. Overall, things haven't been bad lately, although he didn't stand out enough, now it's gone the other way. Am I the only one who feels this way? 4 1 Webmaster of http://www.yoyosims.pl Win 10 64, i9-13900 KF, RTX 5090 32Gb OC, RAM 64Gb Corsair Vengeance LED OC@3600MHz,, 3xSSD+3xSSD M.2 NVMe, Predator XB271HU res.2560x1440 27'' G-sync, Sound Blaster Z + 5.1, TiR5, [MSFS, P3Dv5, DCS, RoF, Condor2, IL-2 CoD/BoX] VR fly only: Meta Quest Pro
Dragan Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 I completely agree with your statement, I just flew a night mission, the TGP in the A-10 is worse, I haven't tried a flight during the day, but at night it's terrible. The contrast for BHOT and WHOT is completely missed with today's update... 3 1
Bigity Posted July 22, 2024 Posted July 22, 2024 Really noticed this last night during a night mission in the A10CII. 1
Dragan Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 (edited) During the day it is tolerable, but at night it is very difficult to recognize vehicles and targets with the current FLIR, as if they are in fog, BHOT and WHOT are currently very bad for night.. Edited July 23, 2024 by Dragan 1
