Hawkeye_UK
Sinai map frequency not working - who would have thought. To be honest it's at the stage where a year on, and dispite many requests for nav freqencies (not just the countless ILS, or lack of them) that I actually place the fault with ED for not ensuring a quality control that as a flight game/"sim" you cannot even navigate correctly on a map. It should be a requirement that all real world tacan and nav beacons are on the map from day one, its not a complex process! OnReTech need to finally address the simple issue of placing all beacons, nav points and ILS on the map and ED need to fire a fox 2 at them to sort it out. However considering the history, i expect very little - or even a reply from OnReTech, might get a, noted - added to list, priority medium at best. 4 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DCS & BMS F4E | F14B | AV-8B | F15E | F18C | F16C | F5 | F86 | A10C | JF17 | Viggen |Mirage 2000 | F1 | L-39 | C101 | Mig15 | Mig21 | Mig29 | SU27 | SU33 | F15C | AH64 | MI8 | Mi24 | Huey | KA50 | Gazelle | P47 | P51 | BF109 | FW190A/D | Spitfire | Mossie | CA | Persian Gulf | Nevada | Normandy | Channel | Syria | South Atlantic | Sinai | Kola Liquid Cooled ROG 690 13700K @ 5.9Ghz | RTX3090 FTW Ultra | 64GB DDR4 3600 MHz | 2x2TB SSD m2 Samsung 980/990 | Pimax Crystal/Reverb G2 | MFG Crosswinds | Virpil T50/CM3 | Winwing & Cougar MFD's | Buddyfox UFC | Winwing TOP & CP | Jetseat
Slippa
I’ve read this. Just posting that as a softener to the likely echo into the tumbleweeds. I’ve read similar posts about radios, all types of navigational aids, assorted airfields and maps and I’ve seen it go unaddressed for yonks. I can’t make sense of a basic compass half the time here and even the most fundamental of tools required, i.e. a windsock, seems a bit too much to have simulated. Hey ho, I’ll pass it on to a team, maybe someone will stare at it til their eyes glaze over. Question for me here is do I post this and incurr the lashings and possible points or do I feel lucky, punk? We’ll do I, punk? At this point one of my schizophrenic personalities is telling me to post and be damned isn’t he? - But I’m in control aren’t I and I’m topped up on my meds so maybe I should just write this out to myself, chuckle or not and go to bed. I could always edit it, not be so sarcastic about it and just make my point a little more reasonably. - But he doesn’t wanna do that does he? He quite fancies being able to dial in some frequencies and whatnot and actually be able to learn to navigate. Wouldn’t that be good? Ok, that’s enough now, lights out, radios off, engines shutdown and leave your helmets where they are til the morning.

Tarres
Not sure but the "box with black dot" icon i think it is the standard icon for a DME station. Is it correct? Edited September 3 by Tarres

Is it correct? yes, that's not true, we removed DME, it's not there in reality. We also set the frequency for the ILS.
