Hunter Joker Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 Could we hope to have a Jester like copilot one day? Inviato dal mio RMO-NX1 utilizzando Tapatalk 2 https://www.youtube.com/user/garaganotube
=475FG= Dawger Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 Please no. I am happy to have a competent and non-annoying AI pilot grab the controls in the Kiowa. No need for anything resembling the “clown”. 5
Hunter Joker Posted September 13, 2024 Author Posted September 13, 2024 Please no. I am happy to have a competent and non-annoying AI pilot grab the controls in the Kiowa. No need for anything resembling the “clown”. Never used, I fly with two stick (one for pilot and one for copilot) and a collective. Doing all the stuff alone and, I must admit, a bit tired of it. I prefer piloting so no chance for the AI pilot but having an AI copilot that can take care of a bit workload from the pilot could be a pleasure when You didn't have a second player. No necessity that he speak or other fancy behavior, could be simple like Petrovich or George. Inviato dal mio RMO-NX1 utilizzando Tapatalk https://www.youtube.com/user/garaganotube

GrEaSeLiTeNiN Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 Would be great if Barundas could spot targets and shoot as well. He’s great at hover and flying already. Barundas does sound a little too calm. A little more drama in the voice to add to the mission atmosphere perhaps. You don’t actually need two sticks if you use a modifier and most functions work in both seats. You could even set the default copilot’s seat position a little more center so you can work both sides without jumping seats too much. 2 AMD Ryzen 5 5600X | Gigabyte RTX 3070 Gaming OC 8GB | 64GB G.SKILL TRIDENT Z4 neo DDR4 3600Mhz | Asus B550 TUF Plus Gaming | 2TB Aorus Gen4 TM Warthog HOTAS | TrackIR 5 | Windows 10 Home x64 | My HOTAS Profiles

Exactly, so I can choose...Once I can choose to be only the pilot (I prefer piloting than shooting) and sometimes could I go Copilot... I didn't see anything bad if You can choose...nobody oblige You to use it... didn't it? https://www.youtube.com/user/garaganotube

Easier to just show enemies on the map if the Reconnaissance Helo auto-spots enemy targets. Its easy enough to fly and run the MMS without ever using the AI pilot. No need to make a magic spotter. 2

Magic Spotter could be avoided like they do with Petrovich that became now a near blind CPG and sincerely I prefer it now. That’s already been accomplished by others. 2
metzger Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 I'd also would like my co-pilot to look out while I fly and vice versa. It doesn't need to be cheat mode, but if I fly and tracers come from his side he can call them and spot who is shooting and return fire with the m4 for example if applicable. Also when I am cpg heads down on the mms, and AI piloting, I want someone to look out for tracers and shots and react to them. Now he can hover you (hover tactic is very uncommon for kiowa as far as I am aware) or fly but if you receive fire, you either crash while trying to take controls quickly due to controls mismatch or die while trying to sync controls to quickly evade. Or will not see it coming at all while heads down. It's a two pilot bird for a reason and to employ it at least somewhat realistically without human multicrew, more advanced AI would absolutely be great. AI pilot bigger orbit pattern and figure 8 pattern will be great addition too. 2 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
