potentiometer/encoder conflict

Hi.

I have several potentiometers and rotary encoders connected to arduinos. They are connected to different boards and configured via DCS-Bios and arduino IDE. I get no errors in coding but when i start playing (using F/A-18) i get conflicts:

-pots are used to control radio volume, rwr volume, weapons volume.

-encoders select the radio frequencies of the radios. One for each radio, one to set the altimeter.

the problem is, most times, the potentiometer also change my radio channels and they do that constantly to the point to be impossible to play.

I tried using some diodes on the pots but the problem persists
