Hello,

after WPT 4, I should contact JTAC to lase targets on WPT5. I am contacting JTAC - he informs me that will start lasing, but I am unable to detect laser around WPT 5 (laser code 1688), also I don't see red smoke. Moreover the cloud base are too low, and there are SAMs, all those make me frustrating and unable to move forward in mission. Also communication menu is really confusing. There is JTAC in F10 menu, but also via standard JTAC menu (i guess F4?). So I am unable to detect laser for F10, and when contacting via F4 I get some coordinates for destroying 2x Zeuses and 2x SAM 10 somewhere close to WP6 (because of strong AA I am unable to fly there and search the targets)...

So what is correct way to use JTAC and what about lasing? I didn't find anybody who flown this mission. If so, please give me some tips how to process.

Moreover even after last update I see 4 types of campaigns - A-10 C and A-10 CII campaign v2.0, and A-10 C + A-10CII campaign v2.3. I am playing version of A-10C II v2.0, but maybe v2.3 has some bugs repaired? Is it possible to somehow use version 2.3 and continue in campaign where I ended in v2.0 (mission 11)?

Thank you.

Just looked at the mission and you shouldn't have a problem with the JTAC lasing anymore.

As outlined in the mission overview, this is a campaign of increasing intensity and difficulty and surface threats and degrading weather more accurately reflect real-world flight conditions. Warfare is NEVER, EVER only engaged in nice, shiny, clear weather conditions and aircrew are frequently forced to engage the enemy in less than ideal conditions. The weather conditions portrayed in Mission 11 are no where near minimums (weather) and are not in a peer, or near-peer environment (SAMs and AAA). REMEMBER , maintaining ALTITUDE and DISTANCE from the threat will allow you to complete all the missions without difficulty. Flying low and close, while more fun, will only get you shot down. I would also HIGHLY suggest reading the README FIRST document in the Docs folder in: USER > Saved Games > DCS > Missions > Campaigns > en > Docs. It explains many facets of this campaign.

Again, I would read the README FIRST document as it explains how to use the new F10 radio menu.

Yes, this was a problem just pointed out a few days ago and has been corrected in the next release of DCS World and we apologize for this error.

I hope this helps make the campaign an enjoyable experience for you which is what we at Combat King Simulations strive to give you, the player, in these missions.

Does it mean, the campaign is updated - was this a mission issue? Do I need to wait for next DCS update, or? Which version of campaign v2.0, or v2.3? I am flying v2.0...

Thank you for tips how to use Comm menu, I will go through it - to be honest I did not read that campaign documents.
I also know this one is  difficult mission -  I was unable to perform successful attack on moving armors, as I mentioned because of low clouds and SAM + AAA. So it is very difficult to stay in Altitude and Distance and in visual/laser contact on moving targets.

In my case I still see 4 versions even after last update (version 2.9.8.1214) - but as I understand it, that is correct - 2 versions for A-10c -> v2.0,  v2.3 + 2 versions for A-10cII -> v2.0 and v2.3. Only question is, if I can fly mission 11 as version 2.3 - because the whole campaign I am flying is v2.0...

Thank you for your help and quick response.

If I will find anything, I will let you know!
