No it wont. Imagine recommending a game "because it has a mid mission save" option. Lmao, this is pretty much the standard in any game and the truth it that DCS players dont play DCS because of that but because they can fly the aircraft they love. It wont even change anything gameplay wise. All it does is reducing the frustration that you havent accomplished anything and that you have the start the mission from the beginning again.

I don’t know about bringing in more players but they’d certainly sell more campaigns.

This feature would be a godsend for campaigns. I love the ones I have but nothing worse than getting more than half way through a 2 hour mission only to run out of time.

Anybody knows why ED says about a thing or a new feature but after dont speak about it for many monts?? It diseappears..

Its because they dont have a lot of resources and a relative small team. They cant make progress fast especially in a game that is as old as DCS.

It costs nothing to promise something. 

See "MAC", Dynamic Campaigns. The latter is seemingly competing for some vaporware record. Judging by what I see of DCS, I would not hold my breath wrt what a 'save game' feature would be able to deliver. I highly doubt that such a feature would be deep (i.e. be able to save a player's plane state) and compatible with existing missions. So let's be cautiously optimistic. Any progress would be better than the current situation; just don't expect much, nor soon.
