HoneyBadger Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 I've added Chuck's Guide for the F-16 but I also want to add his guides for other aircraft. Is that possible without every Chuck Guide being viewable for every aircraft? If I load the F-16, will it only display Chuck's guide for that aircraft even if I have other guides saved into OpenKneeboard?

Like this: I can also highly recommend Kneeboard Builder, which even lets you remove ALL the default kneeboards, (comes back after updates), so you can have only the charts you need in a mission. https://dcskneeboardbuilder.com/ 1

I'd prefer to have the PDF be on it's own tab within OpenKneeboard if possible.

Never tried OpenKneeboard. As for Kneeboard Builder. It's for making and handling kneeboards in the structure above. The structure is native to DCS. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

No, the pages that you place inside an aircraft subfolder are visible only when you pilot that aircraft. The pages that you place outside such subfolders are visible on every aircraft you fly. 11 minutes ago, HoneyBadger said: I'd prefer to have the PDF be on it's own tab within OpenKneeboard if possible. MAXsenna Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 I mean, if I have a kneeboard with checklists, will the PDF guide be in the same tab as the checklists? The kneeboard is just a bunch of "pictures". If you put them there, where I showed you, formatted correctly. They will show in ONLY that module. Why would they show up in another module when all the different folders are defined.Apologies, maybe I misunderstood you now.Cheers! Edit: You ask a question in the OP. The answer is YES, if you do it the way showed you. I'll have a go at the OpenKneeboard. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Sorry, I don't know about tabs, probably its a feature of your OpenKneeboard .. I use just the normal DCS Kneeboard, paired with the KneeboardBuilder utility for converting from PDF to PNG. 1 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
