I wouldn't describe it as a bug, and I'm not sure if it's actually correct. 

In the Free Flight mission you spawn next to the runway. Which is fine, I guess. While in the scramble mission, you start far away from the runway in the middle of the forest, and the enemy gets to the airfield before you can take off. Even if you pretend the taxi way is the tinier cousin of the Autobahn. 

Just feels like the spawn locations have been swapped. Not a big deal though.

On another note. I always get a NAV sys error on the free flight mission. I'm reading the manual to find out why. Couldn't find any solution on this forum.

The nav sys error light after take off is usually either an incorrect runway heading, or the first waypoint is more than 180 degrees turn from runway heading direction, I'm finding there might be some issues with programmed in runway headings for Kola, and having some other nav system issues elsewhere. Going to do some more testing before reporting.

 

Edit: Having had a quick chat with the ever helpful Myse1234 on discord it seems there is a bug with ground starts. Workaround is to re-enter the details for LS into CK37, either code or co-ordinates and ensure the runway heading is also correct. If you enter the airfield code for LS it should put all the right details in.
