MIG15bis FC on the runway:

Starting engine with pulling the Tthothle back, Lshift +L, and then  Rshift+Home does seem to work ....

if you wait for the 500 degrees on the temperature meter.

Lwin+Home does not work for auto start procedure?

It's kinda tough to remember this manual selection procedure for all them different planes.

It's been a while. But doesn't it work the same for all the modules, the only difference being single/double engined? RShft+Home, Left engine. RCtrl+Home, Right and RAlt+Home, both?

i'll test your suggestions, thanks.

ADDED: seems with other planes (non FC?) autostart is under '"Assisit", L-Win+Home ...

I wouldn't know. I've ever never tried autostart. 😉

Got a few helicopters in a sale, main reason then for me buying DCS; sooooooooooooo complicated to start ... glad when Lwin + Home is working there.

Autostart only works with full fidelity modules since for FC (At least FC3 aircraft), RShift+Home (And of course also turning on the power with RShift+L) does start the engines and you don't need to do anything else.
