As i dont no how to or cant make videos... i have a few questions...

1. How do you set the outside camera view to the ground so you can see the aircraft fly over. F2 is outside the aircraft. F3 is a fly past. F4 i can place anywhere but it moves with the aircraft. Any help would be great

2. Can you send a recent flight from "Tracks" to someone or can you watch it back? As when ibtry it asks what program to watch it back on and i havnt got a suitable player to open it to wach.

3. Whats the easiest editing free software to make a video?

Lots of questions lol 🤣👍🏻

Cheers

2. Yes, you can send to another user as long it's the same DCS version. Tracks are proprietary to DCS and can only be "played" through DCS. They are basically missions that records your inputs, hence why they can break if "played" in another version of DCS where it was recorded. You'd want to record like with OBS or other free screen recording software.

3. Da Vinci Resolve is a multi track editor. (Not DCS tracks).

No, you can't edit the track. You need to watch it in DCS, then record it as a video. Or, there is a tool in the track replayer that let's you record it to video. I haven't used that one in years, and I think there are some issues with it.

Ok so if i were to download one of the free video editors you mentioned. Is there an easy way for a begginer to watch / record etc is there a simple button or something

Well, the most easier one, I find Nvidia Experience/Nvidia app if you have an Nvidia card. OBS needs some setup first. Many tutorials online though. Once you have recorded your screen while playing or playing a track, one can watch. It's just a video file then. And can be edited in any video editor.

Picture isn't displayed. Repost?

Out of curiosity, as this happens A LOT. I just wonder how you put the picture in the post, as if this is a site error, it needs to be fixed.
Cheers!

When you copy/paste. Click "paste as plain text", then click on the picture in the lower half once more. Then you won't get the stupid "null" text, and the picture will correctly be embedded.

That is exactly what i did
Huh? Strange. My file storage limit in the forum is reach, so I have resorted to external service instead of purging files. I assume you haven't reached the limit yet?
