Ironmants726 Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 (edited) If I have one critique of DCS is that there is no way to throttle updates so that my computer isn't useless for 2-6 hours while DCS updates. Would love the ability to set a throttle to say 10mb/s so I can get on with other things until DCS finishes updating. Edited October 30, 2024 by Ironmants726

Except anything online related as the download process is hogging all the bandwidth. That's what OP is asking, to limit how much the download process can allocate so you can still leave some percentage of your bandwidth for other things 2
MAXsenna Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 OP. Your router probably supports QoS, unless it's a super cheaper old one.Personally I run pfSense, a free fw/router software, which can be run on old hardware, Rasp's and even in VMs. I find most popular routers inadequate.
